Missouri Star is smack in the center of farm country. Iowa, our neighbor to the north, is the #1 producer in the U.S. of both corn and hogs. 90% of Iowa’s land is devoted to agriculture. Kansas, our neighbor to the west is the #1 producer of wheat, harvesting 363 million bushels in 2021. Our neighbor to the east, Illinois, is the #1 producer of soybeans. We love that Hamilton is located in the heartland. We celebrate that there are gardens and crops and animals growing all around us. We appreciate the people that make these things grow.
