Not quality fabric
Very surprised and disappointed that MSQ would sell such low quality fabric. Very poor weave, hope it holds up to quilting. I would expect fabric of this quality to sell for $5 or less a yard - even 108".

I like the rainbow stripe but the fabric weave is not as tight as quilting fabric I just wonder how well it will hold up as a backing fabric

Scrap Baby quilts
After completing cutting for project quilts, I cut the leftovers into 2-1/2" and 3-1/2" squares. I make bright multi-colored baby/toddler quilts from these. This striped backing is perfect for these quilts.

I think Rainbow Stripe is beautiful! In fact, it’s way to pretty to put it on the back of a quilt, so I’m going to use it on a quilt top!

Fun, Happy Fabric
This fabric should definitely be washed before using. The sizing used in making the fabric gives it a terrible hand. It doesn't even feel like quilting cotton. Once I machine washed and dried it, the fabric is fine.
