Perfect sister project

My sister and I worked on making this quilt I cut and pressed while she primarily stitched. We used many bright colors. It was so much fun and a great stash buster too.

My Very First Quilt!

Not the ideal ‘first quilt’ pattern! However, I made it through. I laughed with my daughter about all the mistakes and how it ‘didn’t matter’ because it was for her. She will get the completed quilt for Christmas.

Lattice quilt pattern

It was easy to follow. But my squares came out to measure 5" instead of 5.5" like the pattern said. I had to make more to achieve the queen size I needed. Also, it would be helpful if the instructions gave requirements for queen and king size quilts.
