Transform fabric panels into spectacular prisms of color! Jenny's Kaleidoscope Quilt Pattern invites you to use your fabric in a new way to create magical blocks that spin and swirl. Using the Missouri Star 8” Equilateral 60 Degree Triangle Ruler, you’ll slice up 6 complete, identical panels (such as Anisa by Satin Moon Designs for Blank Quilting) to make the hexagonal blocks. Pick up 1 yard for the inner border, 1 1/4 yards for the outer border, and 3/4 yard of fabric for the binding. It’s color-iffic!

More fun with every cut!

This was so much fun to cut out and arrange on my design board! I think this will be a pattern I return to for many quilts in the future! I used half yard cuts of different Tula Pink fabrics to fussy cut my kaleidoscopes and it looks fantastic!

I love digital downloads. So easy and you get it immediately. Seeing the video on this quilt was inspiring. Didn't think I'd get the chance to do it but I bought the pattern anyway. The Kaleidescope Quilt pattern I love the pattern!!! It is so much fun! Like Jenny said it's really neat seeing the 3 different blocks to chose from with the different arrangements of triangles. I made a quilt that I've been procrastinating on quilting because I just didn't know how I was going to do it... Solution I've packaged it to send to Missouri Star to quilt... Now I can finish up the 2nd one that I'm doing🤣🤣🤣. It's amazing how easy it is to make and the delight that it creates.

The pattern took my interest as I think it upped the use of triangles with fabric choice to making a very interesting project. After looking at the pattern, I wonder if one could use an all-over print that would have a repeat of say, 15 inches of more. It would be less costly to make. Kaffe fabric would be a great choice, but what are the repeats? just saying

Grandma passing on love of quilts

My 17 year old granddaughter saw the pattern and loved it because it was “different “. So I, grandma, bought all the fabric and am about half finished piecing the quilt top. I adjusted it to make an XL twin as she is off to college next fall and wanted it for her dorm room. Sweet!!
