When I was in college, my neighbor and friend was a young mom with four kids. One day she said something to me about how I was in a “selfish time of life.” Excuse me?! At first I was offended, but then she explained that it isn’t a bad thing. I was in a season of life where I was preparing myself to work, have a family, and be a productive member of society. But to do those things for others, first I needed to focus on me.

Since then I have moved through many other seasons of life, and they all had different ups and downs. Some seasons are bursting with lots of people and busy days. Others are more solitary and quiet. Some seasons are about investing hard work and hopefully others are seasons of enjoying the fruits of your labor.

The secret is to appreciate each season for what it is while you’re in it, and remember that it’s part of a bigger picture. This Seasons precut has lights, darks, and happy colors, but together they combine to make something beautiful!
