Pieced Sashings Triple Play Quilt Tutorial

Triple Play is a favorite tradition here at Missouri Star. Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate their own, unique take on a favorite block, technique, or template. In this episode, the talented Doan ladies show off three adorable ways to spice up your quilts with decorative sashing. (And, just for fun, all three projects are made with the same 10" precut squares: La Vie Bohème Layer Cake by French General for Moda Fabrics.)  Jenny's Half-Square Triangle Sashing starts with oodles of HSTs made with the Easy 16 method. She squares 'em up with the Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer B, then arranges them into pinwheels, chevron, herringbone, flying geese, square-in-a-square, sawtooth, and SO many more!  Natalie's Hourglass Sashing shines with stripes and hourglasses made with navy and white strip sets. When they're all stitched together, the sashing looks just like arrows!  Misty's Diamond Sashed Squares is inspired by traditional piecing from the Seminole tribe. (Psst! Misty used this same technique in her Diamond Ring Table Runner tutorial in September!)
