Sparkling Stars Triple Play Quilt Tutorial

Triple Play is a favorite tradition here at Missouri Star. Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate their own, unique take on a favorite block, technique, or template. In this episode, the talented Doan ladies are using the Round Robin technique to build one BIG quilt. They're calling it Sparkling Stars, and it sure is pretty! Jenny designed the center of the quilt with easy 9-patches and half-square triangle lemoyne stars, Misty added a pretty layer of quarter-square triangles and sawtooth star blocks, and Natalie finished it off with a gorgeous pieced border. This quilt was made three different times with three different fabric lines, and it's so fun to see how different each quilt came out: Jenny's quilt: "Holiday Charms" by Studio RK for Robert Kaufman Natalie's quilt: "Made My Day" by Anna Maria for Free Spirit Fabrics Misty's quilt: "Gingham Foundry" by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Designs
