Classic and charming, who doesn't love Irish Chain quilts? Our simple design of linked nine-patch blocks make up this lovely Irish Chain quilt. Rather than cutting each square individually, we make quick work of it with strip piecing. To begin you'll need one roll of 2 1/2" strips and 5 1/2 yards for the background along with 1 1/2 yards for the outer border. Create this quilt and you'll have the luck of the Irish with you!

Easy to follow

Beautiful pattern with easy to follow directions. The only drawback was that it only provided info for one size. It was still easy to adapt to a baby’s quilt but I struggled to figure out the amount of fabric I needed. My stash has been enlarged, but I love how the quilt came out.
