Missouri Star Quilter's Best Blend batting now comes in a size especially for use with table runners and bed runners. There's no need to fuss with the entire bag of batting anymore, this special batting is just the right size! Missouri Star premium mid-weight 4.0 oz. needle-punched 80% cotton and 20% polyester batting. Excellent for hand or machine quilting and crafts. Can stitch up to 8" apart.

What I was looking for

I had been looking for a low loft 80/20 cotton/polyester batting for two table runners that I had pieced. In my online searches I did not come across any 80/20 batting that reassured me with the label, “low loft” or “ good for table runners,” or anything like that until I looked on the Missouri Star site. There it was! “Best blend Bed/ Table runner Batting. It quilted up beautifully and the table runners are just the right loft.Thank you!
