Makes quilting easy and smooth

I borrowed some clamps from a friend and found that I could do a good job of layering and pinning my quilt all by myself. I usually needed to wait until a friend had time to come and help. I told several friends how easy it was to get everything smooth and taut.

Better plastic than the last ones but smaller

Well I’m hoping the plastic on these is better than the last (previous) clamps, which all broke (the handle snapped) within a year. The mechanism is the same, but the capacity of these is quite a bit less, so it’s harder to use them to hold bigger quilts, so much so I’m worried about using them on a queen size. The previous model had a higher arc so I could fit more rolled up quilt into them; these are shorter & have a flat arc, which means I’m having a harder time stuffing the quilt into them....

Awesome clamps

These babies are great! I can roll a chunk of quilt, fold it up and these clamps hit easily over that huge lump!! My hand is just small enough that it’s a little difficult to get a solid grip without some double-handed adjustment.
