    Cutting on bias

    I love this pattern, Pinwheel Picnic, but the method used to make the pinwheels has you cut the long edge of the triangles on the bias which distorts the shape easier than sewing on the bias. This caused distortion and my quilt top doesn't lay very flat. When I make this quilt again, I will make the pinwheels the old fashioned way.
