    harder than it looks

    The video for the Pixie Sticks pattern made it appear much easier than it is. Lining up those slanted seams is very tricky. After making a few disappointing blocks, I gave up and used a different pattern.

    I say pick up sticks!

    I love this pattern so much. I still have to put on one more border and the quilt but it was easier than I thought! I tend to overthink things a lot! Thank you so much!

    Makes a Beautiful Quilt Top

    I loved this pattern, except I found a mistake AFTER I had cut out fabric and begun sewing. The strips should be cut 1 1/2 inches, not 1 inch. Thankfully, i found the correct directions in the written words on the video tutorial (yes, even IN the video itself, the directions are wrong. If you cut them 1 inch, you will not get the measurement you need in the end.) I had enough fabric left to begin again and produce a quilt top. MSQC did send an apology by way of a gift card...thus, the five stars... but this was only after I called and then later emailed them. But all is well now as my quilt top is a real beauty!!!
