A gizzard by any other name is just a chicken's stomach and we love this cute, vintage-inspired pattern so much we kept the quirky name. To make this quilt, you'll need one package of 10" squares, 2 1/2 yards of coordinating fabric in a light color, and a little more than a yard for the outer border. Stitch it up and feel free to squawk about it!

    This pattern called hearts and gizzards has a very wholesome 1800's

    design that will warm up a room with its presence. I'm going to take time selecting the fabric for this beauty, full of antique personality.

    Love this pattern!

    This is a favorite pattern of mine. Anxious to get started on it. I had much of the fabric already in my stash but did purchase a little more to add to what I already had. Pattern is easy to follow and fun to do with my favorite colors, just for me.
