    Very large fish

    Each fish block is very big. Only 5 fish fit on a throw quilt which is 52” x 52”. I was hoping for many fish for a little boy who loves fish…especially yellow fish. I have included a photo of a pillowcase I made from an extra fish (that I made smaller) for a 12” x 16” pillow.

    Great results with a little help

    There were a couple of places in the pattern where I had to sit down and do the math. The horizontal sashing strips lengths should have been given so that you could use those lengths to true up the quilt. Also found the directions for putting the blocks and sashing together, really just pictures, a little confusing. But the end results were stunning!

    Grandson going fishing

    Arrived just a few days after I ordered the pattern. Very prompt. I love Missouri star tutorials. They are the best. Decided to get the pattern and try it myself after watching the tutorial. I can hardly wait to get started.
