My friend Judy got me started in quilting in 2005. Every October her husband goes hunting. She invited me to come and spend 2 weeks at her home while he was gone. We were orginally going to do a Christmas quilt but I saw the Turkey Trot pattern and we each decided to make that quilt. We wanted to make it in flannel (do you know how hard it is to find fall flannel in the fall?) She had some squares that had been her mom's so we used those. We love our quilts.
