The finished product was cute. However, I would not choose to do another project with the "furry" fabric, and I would hope the instrutions on other projects are more concise. I ended up using youtube to get me through, especially with the binding portion. Keeping in mind that I am a seasoned mother, grandmother and nurse, my feeling is a baby product is better off without all the high-nap fur. I don't care how many times I ran it through the drier, there was still more "cuddle dust" with which to contend. As far as being used as a coverlet, I am of the opinion that this is more a project that should be used as a pallet on the floor or in a play pen, furry side down, for a small baby to have "pallet time". Once they start turning over, it should be stored or used as a wall-hanging. I also used the Poly Down Batting recommended in the package. I would not use that again. I would use a light-weight cotton or flannel. I learned a good deal from this project so I am not unhappy that I ordered it, but the product itself could use some review.
