    Book Review Quilt

    The Book Review Quilt was the very first quilt that I attempted. I made this quilt as a special university graduation gift for my granddaughter who has been a voracious reader for many years. Despite errors on my part I am still very happy with the results. I am so glad that I ordered the pattern as there were a couple of things I didn't quite get from watching the video. My granddaughter loves the quilt. I also managed to make a matching pillow sham to go with the quilt.

    Perfect for book club

    I have been in a book club for 20 years and wanted to make a quilt for my very good friend who started it. Thought this was perfect. Book blocks were super easy to sew. Another member suggested we embroider names of our favorite books, so that step is in progress. Will be fun to sew blocks together and finish.
