Quilting Product Description

Start with lovely lattice blocks and let your creativity blossom! This Lovely Lattice Chambray and Essex Linen Fabric Quilt Kit includes a pattern and fabric for creating a quilt or multiple smaller projects. The on-point blocks provide the perfect backdrop for embellishing with embroidery or appliqué. Kit includes the Lovely Lattice quilt pattern, 32 precut 10” squares of Essex Linen-White, 1 yard of Essex Linen-White for background.; 1-1/3 yards of Chambray Indigo for border and sashing, and 1-7/8 yards of Chambray Indigo-Washed for border and binding. Enough fabric for making one quilt or various combinations of smaller projects. For embellishing with appliqué, we recommend templates, Sew Light Fusible Interfacing, or pre-fused appliqué shapes. If you want to embroider, check out some of the Embroidery Stitch Packs and embroidery kits offered by Missouri Star!

    Complicated pattern

    The pattern should be so easy but the instructions are more complicated than they need to be. I appreciate the fact that the kit included precut squares (that have to be trimmed!) and it isn't taking long to finish. I've never worked with 56" fabric before. Still undecided there. FYI, I've been making quilts for almost 35 years and have done some very complicated quilts. I've also written/created some quilt patterns for my own use. This is definitely not a beginner pattern.
