Quilting Product Description

Pellon Shape-Flex is an all purpose, woven, fusible interfacing that's perfect for sturdy support in projects like apparel sewing and creating fashion accessories. It also works well for stability when used as a backing for needlework and punch needle embroidery. Shape-Flex works well with light to medium woven and knit fabrics from chambray to cotton. Do not put Shape Flex in the washer or dryer by itself or you may loosen the adhesive.

    when starch is not enough

    This is exactly what I wanted - I needed cotton, flexible, but shape supporting stabilizer for some funky corners with bias. Bonus that it was iron on and stayed in place - again firm, but flexible. It worked great to keep things from stretching while I sewed them together - it also kept the piecing precise, crisp and easier to handle. It is lightweight enough it didn't add bulk or stiffness to my project.

    Note: used it with waxed cotton ankara fabric
