Beautiful quilts and affordable patterns

I've been sewing for a little over a year, so I still consider myself to be new at it. I'm always looking for ideas and simple patterns. All the examples in the Block books are very pretty, and all the quilts in this book are beautiful. The sale price made it very affordable. Sometimes patterns are expensive. I may like what their sample quilt looks like, but after I buy the pattern, I find that it's quite over my skill level. Some of the patterns in these books are too, but many are doable....
