This is one beautiful book!!!

I bought and received this book last week. It is a treasure. The photographs are big, bright and clear and allow the viewer to compare the differences between the modern aesthetic and that of yester year. I have a background in historical costuming and it is an absolute pleasure to see the handwork in detail. This is not a pattern book of historically inspired modern quilts, these are the real thing. There is also information on starting your own collection of historical quilts and their care. My only regret is I bought the book before it came on sale but at least I didn't have to pay shipping. This book is a must have for anyone who loves historical quilts or makes reproductions.
