If you love optical illusions the only thing we have to say is, "Ditto!" They're so much fun, but did you know you could make one in quilt form? This simple quilt created with intersecting strips makes you do a double take. Its clever design causes you to see white spots in the center of the black strips. Whoa! To start you'll need two packages of 5" light squares, one roll of 1 1/2" darl strips, along with 1/2 yard for the border.

    Versatile Pattern

    This pattern first got my attention thinking it would be great in red and white. After receiving it and thinking about it, I realized it would make a great scrappy quilt with each square from different fabric or another option would be to use an ombre fabric. I really like that it is a more versatile pattern than it appears.
