Quilting Product Description

Patchwork periwinkle stars in two sizes are appliquéd onto this quilt in the same style as Dresden plates, hence the name! Give machine appliqué a try, we think you'll enjoy it even more than you imagine. To start you'll need one package of 10" print squares, one package of 5" print squares, and just under four yards of background fabric. It's as pretty as a picture!

Finished size: 78 1/2" x 78 1/2"

    Charming pattern

    I am enjoying doing this in scrap Christmas fabrics I had on hand. Do find it necessary to trim down the seams of the smaller plates after sewing (to 1/8") to be able to turn them. I also have to stop and pivot the plates on curves and points when attaching to background fabric. I usually quilt my own projects, but this one is big and will go to long armer.
