I have a lot of rippers…. A LOT! And I’ve yet to find one I like better than this one. I do wish it came with a cap but I solved that problem by cutting a pice of medical suction tubing to the end. Now the end is protected and I avoid injury… a win-win!

Great tool!

I love the shape of the handle…comfortable in my hand and doesn’t go rolling when I set it down. Nice and sharp, so those pesky wayward stitches come out easily!

Flimsy Cover

I love the seam ripper itself. However, the flimsy tiny plastic slip cover that goes over the tip to prevent injury is a very small plastic sleeve (1 3/4” x 3/8) and is cream colored. This tiny piece of plastic is very difficult to keep up with and could easily be mistaken for a scrap piece of fabric and discarded. Extremely poor design for a cover for something as potentially dangerous as a seam ripper. Would have expected more from a company like Clover.

Paid for itself

The Clover White Seam Ripper arrived when it was most needed. It has paid for itself many times over. I used it to cut through thread that had spooled around the bobbin holder on my sewing machine. I could not get it out and thought I would have to take my machine in for a repair. It cut through the threads and with my long tweezers, I was able to get sewing again. I have tried many seam rippers, used to think there's nothing special about them, purchased many at the "dollar store" thinking they are disposable and anything works. Boy was I wrong. This seam ripper is a life changer; I've purchased 6 of them so far; for the longarm, for my sewing area, for my class sewing box, for my daughter, and a spare. Just purchased another one.

Always #1! You can’t beat Clover products.

I have a Havel seam ripper (which has replaceable blades and is surgery sharp), is my most-used tool. But the Clover seam ripper is a little less dangerous around my fabric projects.
