    lovely mix of colors

    I'm working on a one-month timeline to get a quilt done that will go to a friend's 12-year-old daughter in Malawi. She will be starting boarding school in August and my friend leaves Aug. 1st so I've got to get this done. I like the wide backing -- saves a step!
