Bertie's Year

This little bird gets around! The 12 mini quilts in Bertie’s Year depict a year in the life of author Bonnie Sullivan’s bird, Bertie. Each block depicts one month, with seasonal and holiday motifs. The cute bird sports hats and checks out springtime blossoms, enjoys watermelon in the summer, rests among autumn leaves, and meets a snowman. You can use the patterns to make little quilts to display individually or put them all together to make a larger quilt. Each block is made using wool, flannel and embroidery.
