I was surprised at how large some of these templates are, and I wish I had some of them earlier when I was making quilts for gifts. I love how the cake, the balloons, and the frosting are all separate. You just layer them according to the picture, and then you have a quilt. I would follow the picture on the front of the box as my guide and use that for the quilt top again using my fabrics and colors.

Endless creative possibilities

I love the many possibilities! I'm using it for table toppers for a few friends with younger kids that can really be made in a fun happy design. I'm also using it for a few older family members with a nostalgic design inspired. It will be fun and hopefully passed down among family. I’ve not done them yet, I am still gathering and planning, which is one of the most fun parts.

Cute templates for birthday projects

I had made the birthday celebration table runner, so I wanted to do more birthday themed runners. When I saw this template set, I had to have it! It is so cute! I haven't actually used them yet, as I've been busy making 4th of July runners, since my first and only craft fair before the 4th is at the end of June. I definitely want to use the layer cakes with frosting. I plan to make some cupcake mug rugs. I have some balloon fabric for a border, so I will probably add some balloons to a runner...
