    Christmas presents

    I have sent my sisters quilts, table runners, pillows, and panels. I thought this would be nice change for this year's gift. Most of us have no children at home and this could be a nice decoration in event no trees are decorated. Also will be donating to the hospitals for use for children and nurses stations.

    Icy blue tannenbaum

    I used some leftover Christmas fabrics called "Jack Frost", a lovely batch of blue/white/silver metallic prints I bought several years ago. The directions call for fat quarters but you can cheat a little if the scraps are large enough. I used my printer to reduce the pattern size to 93% so the tree pieces would fit and the whole thing came out fine. I gifted it to my daughter who was delighted. I'm planning on adding some silver charm decorations from time to time so next year's tree will have more going on with it.
