One booklet is for crib and throw sizes; the other one is for twin, queen and king sizes. Pattern includes helpful diagrams, instructions, alternate colorway ideas and a coloring page to plan your quilt. It is suitable for intermediate-level quilters.

Grandsons College Quilt

I chose this pattern for my grandson’s quilt as he enters college. His preference is gray tones and he always liked furry throws so I used a Minke wide backing. The batting is an autumn weight 100% cotton which should keep him warm in Colorado. I purchased the pattern, fabric and batting on line at Missouri Star Quilt Store.

Love this quilt pattern

I am making this quilt for my grandson as he goes off to college. The pattern has a contemporary design that I know he will like. I have just started to work on it by cutting all the strips. I’m working on the first blocks currently. The directions are easy to follow for each of the blocks and these blocks when put together for the quilt top will create the stunning interwoven design.
