    Simply inspirational!

I haven't used the pattern yet, but saw it on one of Misty's tutorials and have multiple plans for it already.

Using a charm pack(s) and strips, I think the squares will go together easily.

Several ladies in my "local" sewing group have used "piano keys" and other interesting, yet simple patterns on the backs of their quilts to stretch their stash of backing fabric. So, when I saw Misty's tutorial, I decided to play with it on the back of a Halloween quilt using either a fall charm pack with an autumnal color background or bright batiks on black. Hmm. Decisions, decisions.

Since I haven't worked with the pattern yet, I am basing my 5 stars on the tutorial.

    Falling Charms

I love this pattern! Sews up quick and easy. Used it for a memory quilt. The family attempted to start the quilt which only complicated things as the seams were anywhere from 1/8 - 3/4". They used the flannel that was left over from when the mother made Dad's flannel shirts. I took what they sewed together and made the squares. Then, used that for the tumbling charms. It would have been so much easier if they would have given me the fabric first but in the end, this pattern was very forgiving. They loved how it turned out. The first pic was taken before it was sewn together. the second is the end result but not a good picture.
