Put together four sets of them for a quilt block that's granny-approved. To begin you'll need one roll of 2 1/2" print strips along with one package of 10" background squares and 1 1/2 yards of background fabric.

    Well I'm making the Grandma Mae's quilt in a King size for my Niece. Her birthday is next February. This pattern requires a lot of cutting and labor intensive sewing. The quilt will be all blue pattern material with beige around the 2 1/2 squares. . Missouri Star will do the pretty quilting part . I plan the border to be the plain blue and binding too. I normally don't follow a pattern but create my own stuff as have lots of donated to me stash. So this is a big challenge. My niece's grandmother's name was Mae. She's so excited to be getting this.
