The stars in this pretty quilt seem to reach out to one another! With this layer cake-friendly Missouri Star pattern, you’ll make blocks of half-square triangles and half-rectangle triangles to create two sizes of star legs. Then just assemble the blocks! Finished size 83” x 83”. Sample quilt made with fabrics from the Summersault collection by Tamara Kate for Windham Fabrics.
Finished size: 83" x 83" Pattern for 10" squares and yardage

End result very unique
A bit tough to keep track of the design, but the end result was very unique and added a nice pop to my coffee bar.

Helpful tutorial for beginners
I like her tutorial. The tutorial made it look easy. I use it for a quilt pattern, but I haven't started it yet. I shop much faster than I sew.

EASY pattern
I love designs where the blocks blend into each other. I find this less pattern stressful than improv piecemaking. My Wonky Stars involved a lot of ripping & restitching so I was excited to get the “wonky” look with a more measured approach. My first of the Connected Stars is red, white & blue. Thinking about Christmas stars too. Thanks for the tutorials! Great inspiration!!

And yet another beautiful pattern
What can I say about this pattern that I haven't already said about the other connected stars patterns from the Triple Play. I definitely want to make this one for next year. I may even use the "scraps" I have left from the Quilt town fabric that I used for the Jacob's Ladder quilt. Keep up the good work!

What a Fun Pattern!
As usual, easy to follow. It's fun to see how the block comes together and forms a star. I love the way the stars are offset.
