Starlight, star bright! Your wish for a beginner-friendly and precut-friendly quilt pattern just came true! The Starlight quilt pattern is a modern sawtooth star pattern, made up of a mix-and-match design. You can use your favorite fat-quarter bundle or 10” squares. The pattern includes helpful diagrams, detailed instructions, and a Color-Your-Own page to help you decide on fabric choices. The sample quilt was made using Confetti Cotton Solids by Riley Blake Designs.

Quilt.

I took this pattern to Milwaukee to teach my 14 year old grand daughter. I showed her the first block and she says to me “grandma you can go take a nap now”. She’s now on row 3 and …. Would never have been my first choice of a quilt but the younger generation just picks up and runs with it.
