Spin off quilt pattern

I don't think to much of this pattern. I watched the tutorial about 6-8 times and still never found out what to do with the opposite triangles Jenny said to put in an own pile. It wasn't clear or mentioned in the pattern. It wasn't clear how to put the accent blocks either. Just by luck I got some of the blocks correct. I didn't see the mess until it was all sewn together. Not all the blocks made the Friendship star. Or the chain blocks worked work out. Very discouraging.
