The colors in this layered cake are stunning. It’s for a client that wants a king size quilt in all blues and big squares. She’s not a flowery type person so these batiks were exactly what I needed. These brilliant colors will help to “dress up “ such a basic pattern.

This is a great collection

Not a full 10" square

I love the material. It is heavier and easy to work with, plus I love the bold color. However, I was very disappointed to discover that the blocks are not a full 10" square. The pattern I bought the blocks for uses every inch of a 10" inch square. I was supposed to get the pieces for 4 small hearts from each block, but was only able to get 3 thus wasting a lot of the material. Other than that issue the fabric is easy to work with, which is wonderful.
