Beautiful Quilt

Have not started to make the quilt. Watching tutorials to know how to prep fabric for cutting and layout. Fell in love with this Quilt kit when I first saw it and had to have it. I purchased a different backing with similar colors. Make sure you get the proper ruler to cut fabric .

More than a challenge

The "pattern" left out vital information. Although I have 50 years experience with garment sewing, this is my 2nd quilt. Quilting is very different from tailoring. I had to "cheat" as all the bias seams would not lay flat. Also, the fabric may not be bolted straight, or printed square to warp and woof. I wish the quilt were bigger. I still think it us gorgeous. I learned a heck of a lot.
