    Good Fat Quarter Quilt

    This quilt uses 13 fat quarters and I would suggest using theme-related fabrics. All flowers, all produce, etc. It needs lights and darks, so you can choose random fat quarters that coordinate or a bundle from one collection, as long as you have different values of lightness and darkness. It's an easy pattern and basically uses triangles and squares, but a nice pattern emerges when finished. I haven't made this one yet, but what attracted me to it is the ability to use random fat quarters or cut them from the florals in my stash already. Using plaid or geometric design fabrics adds a nice contrast in line to the large and small scale floral prints.

    Blossom Quilt Pattern
