Quilting Product Description

The heaviest weight cotton thread that Aurifil has to offer. Perfect for hand and machine appliqué, hand and machine embroidery, hand quilting, cross stitch, embellishment and lace, Sashiko and longarm quilting. When using this thread by machine, it is recommended you use a much thinner thread in the bobbin like a 40WT thread.

    Perfect for big stitch

    Aurifil thread is a can’t miss, but as a hand quilter I’ve been delighted by using the 12wt for big stitch quilting. The thread shows up beautifully—and after all, if you are putting the time and effort into hand quilting some, you want to see it! Try Primitive Gathering’s Big Stitch needles for easy threading and a sturdy needle
