Not so large of an eye

I bought these thinking they would work well for my quilting, but the thread won't go through the large eye. I'm disappointed that they won't work for me, but I'm sure they will for someone else. They seem very sharp so would be perfect for sewing.

title states large eye, they really do not have large eye and needles are very small. For older sewers these are difficult to use. I would not purchase this again. It may be my fault for reading the description better.

I thought these were for applique. Whoops, very short but I am planning on learning how to quilt small projects by hand so these should work well.

My personal experience has been excellent using large eye needles.

I love the large eye size 10 needles. A lot of quilt shops no longer carry these.

The needles I guess, are all right. I just wish you write the actual lenght of the needles in millimetres, as I had no idea how long these were.

Great needles. The big eye makes threading my thicker quilting thread much easier.

It helps when I’m hand quilting. I use #12 threads and these needles allow me to easily thread the needle without first crushing the thread tip to fit into regular needle holes. My eyes thank you too.
