Great for housewarming gift!

I just finished making this yesterday, as a housewarming gift for my sister. It turned out great using vibrant Whimsical Wings by Island Batiks, plus a few extra scraps of blue batiks. I quilted using stitch-in-the-ditch, which made the back side look pretty too, because of the wonky stars. By the way, the stars aren't just wonky, they're RANDOM wonky. I have a little problem with random :) but managed to embrace it.

Read Carefully

Do be careful with these blocks. They will not fit across the length of the quilt correctly unless you trim them down significantly before stitching together in a row. You can see from my photo that 9 little house blocks with careful 1/4" seams and following along with pattern and tutorial can get 'cha in trouble. I may have to eliminate a tiny house and add a Christmas tree. But, there is a first time for everything. All other aspects of MSQC are excellent.
