Ewe Cuddle Quilt Kit

This is such a cute fabric I Loved the lambs and the sheep fur cuddle. The binding is sooo nice too. The company should add more of this binding fabric in the middle of the blanket as well 🥰.

Never again

The kit was not complete (no directions ) and there was miss size information concerning the backing fabric dimensions on the box which was very confusing. I had to email the company for the directions and ask why my backing fabric was too small (box said 30” sq, fabric was 29.5” sq). They then told me that the box dimensions were printed wrong. Someone is slipping on quality control. Shannon messed up and MSQ graciously helped me out

Missing instructions

If you purchase this, Jenny has a YouTube on how to put it together. Unfortunately, I was not aware of this before I put it together. Mine is not something I can gift. I pinned and pinned but narrow strip fabric still rolled. Wish directions had been included. Also, this is not quilt sized. Packaging says 27” x 27” but finished size is even smaller.

It claims to make a 27” by 27” but if you want all pieces to line up then no way. The backing is barely that so good luck. Also, I’ve never sewn with minky before so it was definitely a new experience for me so glad it was only a baby quilt. Far from perfect but it will be my cats quilt and they don’t much care about perfection as much as comfort so they love it!! It was hard to keep them away from the project as it was being made! The blanket turned out to be beautiful but it was very hard as a beginner to work with this fabric. I had to rip out and start over some. I do love the finished product .

Turned out great!

So soft and full of textures the baby will love. I especially appreciated the tip in the instructions to put the cut pieces in the dryer to remove a lot of the fuzz. Kept the the lint/fuzzies that comes with fur and plush materials to a minimum.
