There's no risk of making a measuring mistake, also the cross-hair lines etched onto the Charm Maker allow you to fussy cut the fabric exactly where you want to - any designs on the fabric are perfectly aligned or centered just the way you want. And, you can use it to cut the charm squares into 2-1/2" squares!

    Charm square template

    I like it. I would prefer to have a colored plastic the clear is easy to lose and harder to see when cutting.
