    Very messy and short-lived

    Being a hand quilter, I had hoped this method would work better; template stencils are virtually unavailable anymore, unfortunately. Filling the box with the plain zip-type bag of blue chalk was very messy, much chalk being wasted. The chalk does not stay on the fabric long, so only one hoop's worth can be drawn at a time. I do not recommend this product as a replacement for the long-used plastic templates.

    Full Line Boarder Stencil

    Works great using with my pounce pad. Just what I was looking for! The hearts stencil is looking great on my boarder. The meandering stitch has worked well for the rest of the quilt!
