The Perfect Thread

I had to sew appliques onto a polyester banner for for church. Two of the appliques were very thick, and I could not manage to pierce them with a hand sewing needle. I bought this MonoPoly clear invisible thread and threaded it into my sewing machine. It was easy to thread! I used Gutermann polyester thread in the bobbin, and used a medium zigzag stitch to slowly sew around the two thick appliques. . Volila!!! It worked perfectly, and the banner looks great!

Blend beautifully

This Monopoly brand invisible thread glides through your sewing machine. I’ve used another brand that sadly sometimes lagged when using in the sewing machine. I’ll keep that one for hand sewing. Monopoly will now be my go to invisible thread for machine sewing. Great product; I recommend Monopoly Invisible Thread.

Sewing was reasonable. Seeing the thread to thread the needle was a challenge. It also worked better on the upright spool holder.

I loved how it looked on my appliques. However, I had a few issues with the spool as the thread would get tangled. I would have to stop sewing and remove the spool from my machine to untangle the thread.
