    Tah Dah! I actually used my stash to make this quickly and I love it!

    Thank you for the tutorial and clearly written pattern! I needed a quick, but different baby quilt for a little boy. It was fun to make. I used the last bits of an impulse purchase of Kona Chartreuse solid as the background and a gift of tropical print quarter yards for the bow ties. Who doesn't need a bolt of Chartreuse??? The color made me happy every time I saw it on the shelf. Time to use it. All that remains is a half yard. Those of you with sharp eyes will notice that the bolt was in the NOLA sunlight long enough to fade the outer layers. Whoops! I was in the zone chain piecing and didn't notice until I finished. After he drags this quilt through the backyard, beach, and bedroom, no one will ever know the greens are different. Well unless they are a quilter or they read this review. Planning to use a variegated green turquoise and black King Tut 40 to channel quilt it for durability. Oh the backing is the dancing green Benartex alligators on black. This is New Orleans after all. You gotta try this pattern.
