Fun to make. Loved the tutorial. My grandson is moving to where they have no mountains or snow. So wanted to capture our changing seasons and snow

Beautiful Pattern
You have to be a strong beginner ( or more ) to do this quilt top. Staying organized is the key make label and then cut your large background pieces. You might consider using 5" multi gray squares for the accent pieces.

Great pattern for hiking Grandson
Haven’t started it yet but love the pattern, thinking about doing it in greens and browns since he is hiking the Appalachian Trail. Will send pictures when I finish.

It was a challenge, for my 88 year brain., The diagram 4A on page9 would have been easier to follow if the blocks had been number ie; Block A. Block B, Block C and Block D I wanted a Lap size and I figured it out finally after trail and error . I am very pleased with the result. I plan to make another one

I actually bought this so that I could figure out how to make mountains on another top I'm working on. This pattern was just what I needed.

This is a very interesting pattern
I may try converting this to brighter colors and make a baby quilt. Or, use southwest colors for a wall hanging.

Can't wait to get started on this project!
I plan to make this quilt in the next few weeks for my nephew, so that he'll have something to remind him of his mountains back home!
