Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer D for New Leaf Stitches

I bought the wrong size so I haven't been able to use it yet.

I haven't had a chance to use it but once. I expect it to be effective but it's so different that I'm not sure quite how to use it. Would like to see a short video. Maybe just incorporate into another segment? Thanks.

Since this was a new tool for me, i did not realize that the size was so specialized. I make a lot of 3-1/2 hst so this 3-3/4 ruler will not be useful.

LOVE this device so much that I have three sizes! It just makes sense to trim your half square triangle pieces before they are pressed open. If you have cut and sewn carefully, often only one cut is required on one side edge, then the little cuts to trim the dog ears. Saves oodles of time when making lots of HSTs!!!

I love the slotted trimmers. My first choice is the 1/2 inch set this is an extra level for people who sew a lot.

The ends break off easy if dropped even 2-3 feet. I think the knotch slots are the issue since it’s thinner in that area. Accidents happen but maybe the design for the issue should be thicker. Otherwise I love the way they work.

I can now trim my triangles perfectly

I purchased a triangular shaped ruler and when it arrived one of the tips was broken. I notified the company who sent me a replacement and responded to my email promptly. Unfortunately the second one was also damaged so I contacted them again and received my third and intact ruler. They stand behind their products/sales. Love Missouri Star.

I received mine broken, I called customer service and they were so kind to send me another one right away. So I haven't used it yet to leave a good review but when my new one gets here I'm sure I'll like using it.

The ruler is great and works wonderful as designed, however, the sizing is wrong for me. I don’t have very many HST‘s that finish at 1/4” increments. I would’ve been happier with a ruler that finishes in even inches or half inches.
