Rotary blade sharpner

Works good. Not brand new sharp but I was able to reuse my blade thru 2 quilts I had to cut pieces for. Which was nice since it was my last blade and cost me $8.00 from HL. Just remember to wet the stone piece before using. It works much better that way.

We have been using the rotary blade sharpener for a few years now. We sharpen our discs when they start to get a little dull. I have sharpened individual discs up to ten times and have gotten a good sharp blade. The abrasive discs wear out after while and Missouri Star sells replacement discs without having to replace the whole thing.

This really works.

Rotary blades are expensive, because the manufacturer knows we can't make these at home, right? So getting the most out of them is important. I had a blade with a hitch in its get-along, and this sharpener made it cut like new.
