Essential for quilting

I've been using these for years. They are easy to see and pick up. I use them with my long arm quilting machine as well as my domestic ones. I use them to pin the quilt top, back, and batting to the leaders to make the 'quilt sandwich.' They are easy to put in and quick to remove when I've finished quilting.

Flower head pins

Long, flat-head pins are my favorite but the flower heads keep coming off! Easy to see when dropped. They bend easily so they aren't reaĺy good for thick sewing projects. I just made chenille and cotton-pieced Christmas stockings and the pins are bent, headless, and done. But I liked them enough to get more of them for next projects.

Work great for quilting

These pins work great for quilting. I like that they are longer and the heads are easy to grip and pull out, even when you have sewn right up to it and the presser foot is on top of them.

Great thin pins

These pins are the only one that I use to pin quilt pieces together. They are the smallest holes and don’t fray fabric. They can be sewn over with no problem.

Yellow flat flower pins

I have always liked these pins. They are easy to see if dropped on a rug. When in use the fabric lays nice and flat. They newer ones bend easily and I don’t think they will last as long as the older ones. With all that said I will continue to use them.

Flat flower pins

Very useful long pins which won’t melt underneath your iron. They are not as slim as the glass head pins which glide through fabric easier.
