I think there are better solutions out there for what I needed. The magnifying glass is a bit too small and heavy so it doesnt stay in place well and the width of vision is not enough for embroidery work.

Not the best for me

It seems to work ok but it is very tiny and I needed more light than it produces and a bigger magnifying area. And no place to clip it to my sewing area and it's too light weight to to hold the light and magnifying piece up with the base only. A bad purchase for me. It cost more to return it than it cost initially.

I gave one as a xmas gift and they were pleased.

It's bright but hard to balance

This is a great light but a little "gangly" for my purposes...hand stitching in my lap. I would welcome suggestions as to how best to use it. Maybe better on a table or flatter surface?
